How it All Began

Dale started Lonestar Fire Specialties in 2008 with the hopes of pump testing a few trucks each month while off duty from the fire department. Eleven years later our company has grown to service over 120 departments and has performed well over 3,000 pump tests. The majority of our growth has come by word of mouth.  Lonestar Fire Specialties has been and always will be rooted in our core values that have brought us success:

Ultimate Draft System

Dale Alexander is the inventor, designer and builder of the Ultimate Draft System. In 2017 he received Patent No. 9,709,465 for intellectual property within the design of his system.

About Dale

Lonestar Fire Specialties was started in 2008 and is owned and operated by Dale Alexander. Dale has been a firefighter for the Arlington Fire Department for over 21 years. He began his career in emergency services in 1993 as an EMT-B working on an ambulance in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. He later received his Paramedic and Firefighter certifications and went to work for Longview Fire Department in 1996. Dale has also been involved with volunteer fire departments holding the rank of Firefighter, Training Captain, and Assistant Chief.  Dale has also been very heavily involved in training the past 20 years. He was an adjunct instructor for Texas A&M Municipal school starting in 1999, a guest instructor at various area schools throughout the state of Texas and was a primary instructor for Arlington Fire Rescues Driver Operator Training Program. Dale’s ability to teach and share his knowledge about fire pump operations has taken him as far as Russia to provide training.
